| Advisor Index has been added to the VentureFinance Hub! |
MedTRACK is pleased to announce that we have now added an Advisor Index to our Venture Finance database. The new index gives subscribers the ability to search through a list of over 300 placement agents that are involved in venture transactions. The advisors specialize in identifying institutional investors that are willing and able to invest in a private equity fund or company issuing securities. Subscribers also have the ability to search in several different formats, including a search by name and/or geography. The Venture Finance database can either be purchased as a stand-alone product or as a companion product for subscribers to the MedTRACK database. |

| Mergers and Acquisitions Upgraded to Include More Search Options! |
The Mergers and Acquisitions Search, located within MedTRACK’s Deals and Alliances Hub, has now been upgraded to include even more user friendly features. Subscribers can now search by the deal status as well as the geography and industry. This new upgrade now gives subscribers the ability to conduct searches such as “all acquisitions involving European Pharmaceuticals for last 6 months” as well as “all mergers which are announced and not yet completed in any particular industry”. The deal status filter will also allow subscribers to distinguish between announced, completed, and terminated deals. Currently, the hub contains over 6,400 mergers and acquisitions. |

| User Friendly tools added to the Deals and Alliance Search! |
New search capabilities have been added to MedTRACK’s Deals and Alliance search. Subscribers can now search by the Deal Industry, which gives subscribers the ability to select one or even more of the industries of the companies that were involved in a particular deal they are looking for. New search options also include both a “Current Trial Phase” as well as “Trial Phase at Deal Signing”. Subscribers also now have the ability to search for deals with SEC documents. Other search tools within the D&A search have the capability of searching by date, geography, financial terms, and deal industry. A help section is also included at the bottom of the search page which helps subscribers to define key types and financial terms. |

| Love MedTRACK? Why not add one of its companion products? |
The Venture Finance Database provides in-depth coverage of over 9,500 Venture transactions as well as other details for almost 4,000 biomedical companies covered within MedTRACK. One of its features allows search-ability for the most up to date news regarding Venture Financings. Other pertinent search features include transaction categories, financing rounds, security types, and therapeutic areas.
Last year, MedTRACK added IPO Valuations to the VF database. The IPO tool records round by round financing information from company reported filings such as S-1, S-1/A, and 10-K. By clicking on the company name, subscribers are then able to view the company’s venture rounds, valuation data, and stock performance. The database currently holds over 200 entries. The Venture Finance Hub also gives subscribers the ability to locate a company using the new geography tool, allowing subscribers to search by region or country. |

| Looking for an easy search tool for companies with pipeline information? |
MedTRACK’s Screener tool has the ability to provide this information to subscribers in a quick and effective manner. The Screener, located in the Disease Hub, allows subscribers to use several different types of filters to drill down their searches to find the key information they need. Equipped with a basic search option, subscribers can filter the information by using either Therapeutic Category or a Boolean Keyword Search. Subscribers can also search by Geography, Financials, or Clinical Trial. The newest part of the tool even allows subscribers to search by Drug Class, Indication, or Mechanism of Action.
The screener tool also allows subscribers to use several different types of filters to drill down their searches. After all the information is entered, subscribers can click on the last tab on the Pipeline page entitled “Custom Download.” Here subscribers can filter the information by selecting Pipeline, Contact, Deals, Finance, and/or Product.
Subscribers can also now drill down their search by keying in the minimum and maximum Molecular Weight of a particular product. Subscribers can also filter companies based on whether the molecule is an Organic Chemical or a Biological. Simply select the filter and press the “select filter value” image to select and deselect multiple entries. Once all of the appropriate information has been selected, a custom spreadsheet is then created. |

| Need to change your MedTRACK password? |
MedTRACK subscribers can change their own password! Subscribers have the ability to access to the database when either a password has been forgotten or one simply wants to change an existing password. While on the MedTRACK login page, subscribers can click on the “Forgot/Change Password?” link. Subscribers are then prompted to enter the email address that is associated with the account and a temporary password will then be emailed out to them. After logging in with the new, temporary password, subscribers will then be prompted to create a new password for security purposes. If an email address is entered that is not associated with an account, subscribers can then click on the “Contact Customer Service” link. A customer service representative will then contact you with your login information. |
