| MedTRACK Expands on Deal Analyst Tool |
Located within the Deals & Alliances Database, MedTRACK’s Deal Analyst tool now includes all Pharma and Biotech companies and now gives the user the opportunity to search by “Trial Phase at Deal Signing” and Geography.
MedTRACK’s Deal Analytics Tool makes the Deals & Alliances Database the most comprehensive as well as the most analytical by allowing the subscriber to choose between the Basic Analyst and the Analyst Wizard search options. Under the Basic Analyst option subscribers can search by six different fields, including deal types, therapeutic categories, and trial phases. After completing the search, subscribers can download the requested reports to Microsoft Word or Excel. The Analyst Wizard provides the subscribers with charts regarding clinical, deal category and type, and financial information regarding the requested topic. The charts can be downloaded right to the subscriber’s desktop in Microsoft Excel format. |

| MedTRACK Venture Finance Database Reaches New Milestone |
One of MedTRACK’s companion products, the Venture Finance Database, is now tracking over 10,000 venture rounds. Our Venture Finance Database provides details for over 4200 biomedical companies covered within MedTRACK. One of its features allows search-ability for the most up to date news regarding Venture Financings. Subscribers also have the ability to locate a company using the new geography tool, allowing subscribers to search by region or country. Other pertinent search features include transaction categories, financing rounds, security types, and therapeutic areas.
During the past year, IPO Valuations and an Advisor Index were added to the database. The Advisor Index allows subscribers to search through a list of over 300 placement agents that are involved in venture transactions. The advisors specialize in identifying institutional investors that are willing and able to invest in a private equity fund or company issuing securities. The IPO valuation index records round by round financing information from company reported filings such as S-1, S-1/A, and 10-K. By clicking on the company name, subscribers are then able to view the company’s venture rounds, post and premoney valuation data, and stock performance. The database currently holds over 230 IPO valuation entries.
The Venture Finance database can either be purchased as a stand-alone product or as a companion product for subscribers to the MedTRACK database. |

| MedTRACK Subscribers Can Create and Save Company Searches in My Portfolio |
Located on the SmartBar of the MedTRACK homepage, MyPortfolio gives subscribers the ability to create and save specific searches on a particular company or companies. In an effort to create company due diligence, several companies can be saved per search since the Portfolios contain Pipeline, Financial (U.S. public companies only), Both, Product, Contact, News and Charts tabs for different views of the portfolio companies. After clicking on My Portfolio tab, subscribers can “Add a New Portfolio” to their list. The first step in this process is to create a name for your search. The next step is choosing a particular company or companies that you would like to research by clicking on the “Add Companies” hyperlink which allows you to search by company name or ticker symbol. After all the company or companies have been selected, simply click on the “Save Your Portfolio” link. Once a portfolio is created, it can be modified or deleted at anytime and subscribers can also download the data to Excel. |
