Welcome to the fourth edition of MedTRACK’s Quarterly Newsletter!

This has been a big year for us. We have seen significant growth in our subscriber base and have invested heavily in the expansion of the features and functions of the database. Here are some highlights:

-Worldwide patents allows you to research worldwide patent and market exclusivity expirations by product, company, active ingredient, indication, target, and more.

-Royalty Analyzer allows you to assess royalty payments by indication, geography, and phase of development.

-Route of administration tags enable broader searches.

In this edition we will cover:

New Features TOP

Worldwide Patents now complement US Orange Book coverage, providing patent expiry and patent family information on branded products with unexpired patents, speeding the process of due diligence from weeks to hours.

Worldwide Patent Viewer

Analyst Consensus sales forecasts have been added. Along with historical data, the forecasts aid in investment decisions by providing insight into a company’s future revenue, impact of the competition and potential return on investment.

Analyst Consensus

Royalty Analyzer tool allows you to benchmark what other companies have paid or been paid for their products. This tool aids in financial decision-making by analyzing disclosed royalty values of agreements within the life sciences. It will estimate royalty rates for products whose rates have not been publicly disclosed. The Royalty Analyzer also assesses the costs and benefits of licensing a product or technology vs. bringing it to market unpartnered.

MedTRACK Royalty Index

R&D Spending Tool enables the evaluation of R&D spend against other key metrics such as sales and marketing so you can track the competition, justify R&D budgets, find any soft spots in the industry where there might not be enough spending on research, and screen potential acquisitions. The types of information in this feature include: R&D spending, R&D intensity, as well as sales.

Molecule Track allows searching by active ingredient and associated synonyms. With this feature, subscribers can make specific competitive searches and also have the ability to view various indications in which each active ingredient is being developed.

Management Search was added to the Disease Hub to give subscribers the ability to search the largest directory of Biomedical Industry professionals with their profiles and contact information.

Route of Administration (ROA) Search is now available so users can filter products by specific routes of administration.

The Advisor Index enables searches across over 370 placement agents that are involved in venture transactions and highlights institutional investors that are willing and able to invest in a private equity fund or company issuing securities.
